Heartgrain is built around private writing, so we collect as little as we can and never sell it.
What we keep
- Your email address, to sign you in.
- What you write: readings, exercise answers, chapter notes, highlights, self-check answers, check-ins, weekly plans and coach conversations.
- Your subscription status from Stripe. Card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- One session cookie to keep you signed in. No ads and no tracking cookies.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the app and its database and sends sign-in emails.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Anthropic processes coach requests: when you ask the coach something, your message and the relevant entries you wrote are sent to Anthropic's API to write the answer.
Your choices
Download everything you wrote from your account page at any time. Deleting your account removes all of it from our database and cancels any subscription first.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and sessions after 90 days.
